At Corpore Sano, we use the purity of plant extracts as the essence of our product formulas.

Our formulas use a wide variety of plant extracts from certified organic crops, and thus guarantee the quality and efficacy of the products. Corpore Sano does not use synthetic ingredients, developing products that are more organic and sustainable in all aspects.

  • BIRCH-ASTRINGENT AND TONING

    Water-soluble birch extract has an astringent action, and is effective in regulating oil-prone scalps.

    Its composition contains mainly saponins (betulin), tannins, flavonoids, resins and essential oils.

    Commonly used in shampoos and hair lotions to prevent hair loss and invigorate hair. Also used in anti-cellulite cosmetics for its toning power: improves skin elasticity and stimulates the elimination of toxins. 

  • BASIL-PURIFYING AND ANTISEPTIC

    Basil extract has an antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal effect, so its use in oral hygiene products with purifying action is recommended. Also used as a tonic for skin and hair.

    Contains essential oils, tannins, flavonoids, phenolic acids and triterpenic acids, such as ursolic acid and oleanic acid. Basil is typically a Mediterranean plant, although it originates from India.

    At Corpore Sano, we use the purifying and balsamic properties of basil to enrich our toothpastes with an extract as aromatic as it is effective.

  • SEAWEED-REMINERALISING AND TONING

    Seaweed is rich in minerals, vitamins B1, B12 and C, proteins, mucilaginous substances rich in glucides, trace elements, polyphenols and other moisturising substances.

    Helps to improve the natural moisturising factor of the skin due to its iodine, polysaccharides, lipids and alginic acid content.

    When used on the skin, Seaweed extract acts as a toner, moisturiser and softener, as well improving the appearance of cellulite due to its firming action.

  • ALMOND-NOURISHING AND EMOLLIENT

    Sweet almond extract has been a popular ingredient in prestigious cosmetics over the centuries. Used to soften and tone dry skin, and to treat dermatosis and superficial burns. 

    Almonds are rich in essential fatty acids, proteins, glucides, vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6, E and mineral substances.

    Sweet almond extract has a nourishing, emollient and skin conditioning action. At Corpore Sano, we use Almond extract to regulate the hydrolipidic balance of the skin. Also used to soften and tone dry skin and improve elasticity.

  • ALOE VERA-MOISTURISING AND SOFTENING

    Aloe is recognised worldwide for its moisturising action, which helps to maintain the natural balance of the hair.
    With an emollient and moisturising effect, it softens and conditions the hair.

    Soothes the skin, helps to retain moisture and maintains the skin's protective barrier. Its moisturising and emollient properties help both skin and hair, delivering the nutrients the hair needs to maintain tone and elasticity.

    Aloe vera gel is also an excellent substance to treat sunburn, moisturising and refreshing dry or dehydrated.

  • ALTHEA-HYDRATING AND VOLUMISING

    An emollient extract is obtained from the root of the althea plant, and is used on skin and hair for its softening and hydrating action.

    In Corpore Sano hair products, it is used to combat dryness and loss of volume and to increase luminosity.

    When used topically, it has a healing, soothing and anti-inflammatory action due to its high mucilage content, so it is recommended for use on sensitive or mature skin. 

  • AMMONIUM ALUM-DEODORISING AND ANTIBACTERIAL

    The alum stone is 100% natural and acts by creating a film on the skin that shrinks pores, regulates perspiration and inhibits the proliferation of odour-causing bacteria. 

    It is an effective deodorant as it breaks down the bacteria that make sweat smell bad. 

    Suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. 

    This Corpore Sano deodorant comes in a stick and can even last over a year. 

  • STAR ANISE-TONING AND AROMATIC

    Star anise originates from China and Vietnam and is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to treat digestive disorders.

    At Corpore Sano, this extract is part of our oral care, providing a characteristic aniseed aroma as well as a toning and protective effect.

    Mainly composed of anethole and estragole, it also contains tannins, mucilages and vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin and vitamins A and C.

  • BLUEBERRY-ANTIOXIDANT AND VITAMIN-REPLENISHING

    Blueberry extract is a concentrate of vitamins C and E, manganese, iron, flavonoids, catechins and anthocyanosides. 

    They are used in creams for their antioxidant and skin-rejuvenating action.

    The violet-blue colour naturally present in the Blueberry extract is very intense and has the potential to neutralise the yellowish tones that appear on white, grey and bleached hair, and for this reason we include it in the Corpore Sano Grey and White Hair Shampoo. 

  • ARGAN-NOURISHING AND SOFTENING

    Argan oil originates from Morocco and stands out for its high content of oleic (omega-9) and linoleic (omega-6) and vitamin E unsaturated fatty acids.

    It has restructuring, nourishing, skin regenerating and antioxidant properties that act protecting the skin against premature ageing.

    This oil is widely used in cosmetics as its active ingredients are very beneficial for the skin and hair.

  • AUSTRALIAN TEA TREE-ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTISEPTIC

    Tea Tree Oil has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. Inhibits the growth of bacteria responsible for the degradation of sweat that causes bad odours.

    This essential oil is very versatile and is also used in treatments for oily or acne skin, to treat the skin after insect bites, or to help to prevent lice.

    Used diluted or mixed with other active ingredients or oils, as it is a highly concentrated substance and only suitable for topical use. 

  • BAMBOO-SUSTAINABLE AND RESISTANT

    Moso Bamboo is a species originating in Asia that can grow up to 20 metres tall. It’s widely grown in China due to its many virtues: it's resistant, grows quickly without the need for fertiliser or pesticides and is used in a variety of products.

    A unique feature of Moso Bamboo is that it absorbs large quantities of CO2, thus contributing to preventing global warming. It’s a hygienic, resistant, antibacterial and fully biodegradable material.

    Two components are extracted from Moso Bamboo: its wood, which as well as being suitable for indoor and outdoor furniture, is also used for making everyday utensils, and bamboo fibre, which is becoming increasingly popular in organic health and beauty products.

  • WATERCRESS-MOISTURISING AND ANTIOXIDANT

    Watercress extract deploys all its benefits in hair cosmetics. A great antioxidant that protects the hair and its colour against the external agents that can cause oxidisation. 

    Hydrates and softens the hair, providing an immediate conditioning effect.

    Aids in preventing hair loss, thanks to its scalp-stimulating action. Soothes and purifies the scalp in cases of seborrhoeic dermatitis and excess oil production.

  • CAFFEINE-STIMULATING AND INVIGORATING

    The Caffeine used in Corpore Sano is obtained from green coffee extract. This extract is rich in polysaccharides, polyphenols, lipids, proteins and minerals, in addition to caffeine, and is highly valued for its circulation-stimulating qualities and antioxidants. 

    When used on the skin, Caffeine is effective against toxin accumulation and cellulite formation. When used on the scalp, it stimulates circulation and has a toning effect, and for this reason we include it in our anti-hair-loss cosmetics. 

  • MARIGOLD-EMOLLIENT AND SOFTENING

    Marigold has a wide range of highly valued cosmetic properties: it has an emollient and toning effect, and it moisturises and softens the skin. In addition, it also has a healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing action.

    The marigold plant contains essential oils, carotenes, saponins and other very effective active ingredients for the treatment of irritated or sensitive skin. 

    Marigold extract is used in Corpore Sano products to soften and moisturise the skin and hair, in addition to benefiting from its emollient and invigorating action. 

  • CAMOMILE-SOOTHING AND PURIFYING

    Camomile contains flavonoids, essential oils and polysaccharides. Known for its softening, disinfecting, healing, sedative, purifying and anti-inflammatory action. 

    When used as a cosmetic, it has a softening and purifying action on skin with dermatitis or eczema. At Corpore Sano, it is included in the extracts aimed at facial cleansing, as it exerts all its softening and disinfectant power. 

    When used on fair hair, Camomile maintains the colour and revives golden highlights while protecting the scalp.

  • CINNAMON-ASTRINGENT AND SCENTED

    Cinnamon extract is obtained from the bark of the cinnamon tree. It is rich in polyphenols, tannins, essential oil and mucilages. This composition gives it astringent and purifying properties, which keep the skin soft and healthy.

    Cinnamon is very aromatic, and its sweet and spicy fragrance is very popular in natural cosmetics. When applied to the skin, it helps minimise pores and keep the skin free from impurities.

    Cinnamon has toning, purifying and antioxidant effects on the skin and hair. Cinnamon extract protects the skin and hair from oxidation and prevents premature ageing.

  • HEMP-NOURISHING AND PROTECTIVE

    Hemp extract for cosmetic use is obtained from the leaves, which are free from psychotropic substances.

    Hemp is rich in tannins and polyphenols, which have recognised antioxidant and protective properties for the skin and scalp, providing softness, shine and protection against premature ageing.

    Cosmetics with Hemp extract can be applied to all skin types. In addition to the leaves, Hemp seeds also have a high concentration of nutrients.

  • NASTURTIUM-STIMULATING AND ANTI-AGEING ACTION

    Nasturtium preparations are used in dermatology and cosmetics to treat skin, nail and hair conditions. Acts by improving the skin in cases of itching, flaking, sunburn or burns.

    Has a purifying and toning effect on the hair. It is used as a hair stimulant in anti-hair-loss or hair-fortifying cosmetics to prevent hair loss and boost hair health, as it stimulates the hair bulb and regulates flaking and sebum.

    These active ingredients repair the epidermis, relieve irritation, restore barrier function and restore the skin’s well-being and natural appearance. In addition, it activates collagen formation. 

    Used in body products to tone and firm the skin, improving elasticity and firmness.

  • COCONUT-CONDITIONING AND NOURISHING

    Coconut extract contains fatty acids, carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins that are excellent for skin and hair care.

    Coconut is a highly moisturising fruit that helps to restore the skin's barrier function while also helping to create a protective, conditioning film on the skin.

    In hair treatments, Coconut extract is famed for its protective, restorative and conditioning qualities.

  • JUNIPER-REPAIRING AND BALSAMIC

    With toning and anti-seborrhoeic properties. It is included in hair products to activate the roots and balance sebaceous production.

    Juniper is also suitable for bath products, hair masks, body creams and oral-hygiene products for its balsamic, purifying properties and for its antimicrobial activity.

    At Corpore Sano, it is used as in oral-care active ingredients, in addition to hair-repair products.

  • EUCALYPTUS-INTENSIVE AND ANTISEPTIC

    At Corpore Sano, we use Eucalyptus extract and its essential oil for its excellent antimicrobial properties in the care of teeth and gums. 

    Eucalyptus extract is deodorising, antiseptic and purifying, in addition to having an anti-inflammatory and healing effect. Suitable for sensitive skin and mucous membranes when used in the right proportions.

    The main active compound in the essential oil of Eucalyptus leaves is cineole or eucalyptol, which is a known flavouring and aromatiser widely used in food additives, fragrances and cosmetics.

  • BEARBERRY-ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTI-BLEMISH

    Bearberry contains flavonoids, tannins and triterpenes. Its main active ingredient is arbutin, which prevents the appearance of and lightens dark spots, resulting in a more even, glowing skin tone.

    It is used in Corpore Sano body lotions and cosmetics for its depigmenting effect, helping to inhibit melanin synthesis.

    In addition, due to its good purifying and anti-inflammatory power, its topical use helps to reduce acne marks and purify skin, reducing inflammation.

  • WHEAT-NOURISHING AND SOFTENING

    Wheat germ is the most nutritious part of wheat, and is used in cosmetic products for its softening, moisturising and conditioning properties. 

    Wheat germ is rich in proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamin E, glucides and lecithin, as well as mineral salts and trace elements.

    Its revitalising, stimulating and strengthening action helps fight hair loss. Its proteins restructure the hair keratin, and it contain antioxidants that protect the hair.

  • GINKGO-ANTIOXIDANT AND TONING

    Ginkgo is rich in flavonoids and terpenes and contains other active substances such as carbohydrates, carotenoids and simple organic acids. It has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect and activates circulation.

    When applied on the hair, Ginkgo extract provides antioxidants to protect the scalp and hair and adds vigor to the hair fiber.

    When used on the skin, its nutrients and antioxidants protect against free radicals, preventing skin ageing.

  • GINSENG-REVITALISING AND FORTIFYING

    Ginseng extract has been selected for its content in ginsenosides, polysaccharides, proteins, vitamins and mineral salts, which act by stimulating hair growth and strengthening hair.

    Ginseng root is an extract with antioxidant and protective properties, so its use in our shampoos results in strong, revitalised hair protected against ageing.

    Pomegranate is a rich source of tannins, amino acids, vitamins (A, B and C) and minerals, which have made it a great ally for centuries in the fight against the effects of oxidative stress.

    As a cosmetic application, it is a powerful antioxidant with a high content of polyphenols. 

    Pomegranate extract firms skin tissue, activates skin regeneration, softens wrinkles and improves skin elasticity. When used for hair, it helps to protect the hair and add shine.

  • GOJI-ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTI-AGEING

    Goji is a fruit with a very high content in vitamin C and antioxidants, as well as group B vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fatty acids that give it outstanding properties.

    Goji berries are known in China as “happy berries”. The berry extract is used in cosmetics for its moisturising, antioxidant and anti-ageing action.

  • SUNFLOWER-MOISTURISING AND PHOTOPROTECTIVE

    Sunflower extract has a photoprotective action, making it very suitable for skin and hair care.

    Rich in polyphenols, vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids, it protects the hair colour from the sun’s rays and external aggressions, while also having an antioxidant action.

    Sunflower extract is also known for its highly emollient and moisturising properties, making it incredibly softening.

  • HENNA-STRENGTHENING AND COLOURING

    Henna has colouring, astringent, strengthening and antioxidant properties. Its leaves are used to dye the hair semi-permanently, as it is very gentle and colours the hair without damaging it, leaving it feeling soft. 

    It adds a very natural colour to the hair, while improving thickness and strength, so it is recommended for people with thin, brittle hair. 

    Neutral Henna is also used to condition the hair, it detangles, adds volume and protects from external aggressions. Gives the hair an intense shine.

    Witch hazel leaves contain tannins, flavonoids and essential oil, makings it a popular extract for use in cosmetics.

    At Corpore Sano, we value the astringent effect of Witch hazel for our oil-regulating treatments in skin lotions and shampoos.

    Thanks to its conditioning and toning properties, Witch hazel combines its balancing action with providing gentle, respectful care.

  • FENNEL-PURIFYING AND TONING

    Fennel is rich in mineral salts, vitamins, coumarins, sugars and essential oil, which contains anethole and ketones. 

    When used in hair treatments, it tones and purifies while helping to fight dandruff. 

    Due to its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, its use in oral hygiene products is recommended, as it leaves the mouth feeling clean and fresh.

  • OLIVE LEAF-ANTIOXIDANT AND SOOTHING

    Thanks to its high content of fatty acids and vitamins E and K, Olive Leaf extract is outstanding in fighting against premature ageing, maintaining the natural elasticity of the skin and making it look soft.

    Used for burns and skin irritations, thanks to its soothing and anti-inflammatory action.

    Due to its antioxidant activity, the extract is used to protect the skin from premature ageing.

    Jojoba Oil is rich in ceramides, Vitamins A, B, D and E and fatty acids, so it nourishes and protects skin and hair. An excellent hair conditioner, it hydrates the hair and rids scalp of oil.

    When used topically, even on the most sensitive skin, it does cause irritation or clog pores. Can be applied all over the body, even around the mucous membranes, without causing discomfort.

    Bay leaf, bark and fruit extracts are rich in flavonoids, phenolic acids and alkaloids, known for their great antioxidant activity. Thus, they protect the skin and hair from oxidation and premature ageing. 

    In addition, its essential oil acts as a powerful antiseptic against the proliferation of bacteria, so it is used in tonics, lotions and products to which it transfers its purifying power.

    Its extract has therapeutic properties and stands out for its soothing and healing effect. 

    Its delicate, soothing, floral scent is used in perfume making. Furthermore, thanks to its active ingredients, this oil is widely used in cosmetics for face, body, hair and oral-hygiene treatments.

    This essential oil stands out mainly for its anti-inflammatory effect and for being a great skin cell regenerator. Thanks to this, it is used to treat burns and wounds.

  • LEMON-STIMULATING AND RESTORATIVE

    Lemon extract has a restorative effect on the skin owing to its great antioxidant capacity. It is rich in flavonoids, vitamin C, sugars and alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).

    Lemon is a famous anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle agent that stimulates cell regeneration and promotes collagen synthesis.

    Lemon is also used in natural hair cosmetics as a refreshing, purifying and moisturising ingredient.

  • FLAX-MOISTURISING AND NOURISHING

    Flaxseed extract is rich in mucilage, proteins and essential amino acids, as well as Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. It therefore helps to moisturise and nourish the hair.

    Flax is gentle on the scalp, strengthens the hair and protects the hair fibre from external aggressions.

    Also obtained from Flax seeds, Linseed oil is used to add shine and softness to the hair and prevent frizz.

  • HOPS-ANTI-DANDRUFF AND BALANCING

    Hops is rich in alkaloids, resinous bitter principles such as lupulone and humulone, essential oil, tannins and amino acids. 

    When applied topically, Hops has a proven astringent and antiseborrheic action.

    In Corpore Sano products, Hops is used for its toning action and to revitalise the scalp. We select it as active ingredient against dandruff and to prevent and combat hair loss.

  • MARSHMALLOW-EMOLLIENT AND SOOTHING

    Marshmallow contains mucilage, starch, sugars, betaine, tannins, mineral salts and essential oil. 

    It is a known emollient agent, delicately softening and hydrating the skin and hair.

    When used on the skin, Marshmallow relieves irritations and bruises and prevents tissue inflammation.

  • SHEA BUTTER-HYDRATING AND NOURISHING

    Shea butter is an excellent natural cell regenerator with great moisturising, nourishing and softening properties suitable for all skin types.

    Its composition includes unsaturated fatty acids and a high content of vitamin E. It has excellent results protecting the skin from both the cold and solar radiation, as well as its anti-irritant and softening properties. 

    Shea butter helps the skin rebuild its hydrolipidic film, thus preventing skin dryness.

  • PEACH-MOISTURISING AND PROTECTING

    Peach is rich in carbohydrates and group A, B and C vitamins. Carbohydrates are hygroscopic active ingredients, capable of absorbing water and contributing to the water maintenance of the stratum corneum of the epidermis. 

    The nutrients of Peach extract keep the hair strong and healthy, which is why at Corpore Sano. we use it in our hair products. Helps to form a protective film on the skin and scalp.

    It has a known antioxidant effect on the skin, which makes it an ideal anti-ageing active ingredient for use in creams and lotions, adding softness and a delicious aroma.

  • MINT-REFRESHING AND ANTIMICROBIAL

    Mint contains phenolic acids, tannins, flavonoids and triterpenes, and its essential oil is highly valued and has been used in ointments and creams since ancient times.

    When used topically, it has astringent, refreshing, toning and softening properties.

    At Corpore Sano, it is an essential ingredient in oral care, where we use it in dental creams and mouthwashes for its characteristic freshness, in addition to its astringent and antimicrobial qualities.

  • HONEY-SOFTENING AND ANTI-FRIZZ

    Honey has very beneficial properties as it contains vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

    Honey is used in shampoos and hair treatments with very good results: it adds a shiny glow, volume and density, and also reduces frizz.

    Other cosmetic preparations with honey include balms and body lotions, which take advantage of the moisturising, nourishing and antiseptic properties of Honey.

  • MYRRH-STIMULATING AND PROTECTIVE

    Myrrh secretes a reddish, rubbery substance in the form of bitter, aromatic tears, from which one of the oldest known balms is obtained. 

    Rich in essential oil, resin and rubber. Used topically for its astringent, toning, stimulating and anti-inflammatory effect on the mouth and gums. 

    Myrrh extract strengthens the gums and prevents tooth decay and the formation of dental plaque, and for this reason it is used in Corpore Sano natural oral care products.

  • ORANGE-AROMATIC AND ANTIOXIDANT

    Orange extract is known for its high levels of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that is highly useful in preventing and combating photoaging.

    The high presence of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and flavonoids in Orange extract also grants it properties that help it moisturise and protect the skin against premature ageing.

    Orange extract contains fatty acids, carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins that are excellent for skin and hair care.

  • NEROLI-SUGGESTIVE AND CITRUS

    Neroli is the oil extracted from the flowers of the bitter orange tree, also known as orange blossom. 

    It is grown in western parts of India, East Africa and the Himalayas. In the 16th century, the Spanish took the tree to Florida, where it prospered to the point that Florida became the world’s leading orange producer. 

    Its exquisite fragrance, sweet and intense, is rich in active ingredients, including limonene and geraniol. It is used in cosmetics to create Eau de Cologne and perfumes, creams, and hair masks.

  • NETTLE-REGULATORY AND ASTRINGENT

    At Corpore Sano, we use Nettle extract to regulate excess oil in the hair. 

    Nettle is rich in minerals, flavonoids, tannins, histamine, formic acid, chlorophyll, glucoquinone, carotenoids, essential oil and vitamin C. When used topically, it treats skin conditions and excess oil in the hair.

    Green Nettle purifies the hair, cleanses the scalp, helps to reduce oil production and prevents hair loss caused by seborrhoea.

  • PETIT GRAIN-SOOTHING AND PURIFYING

    Petit Grain essential oil is extracted from the leaves and branches of the bitter orange tree. It is one of the great allies of the nervous system, due to its soothing properties.

    It is mainly produced in France and Paraguay. Its name comes from the essential oil that is extracted from the small unripe oranges of this tree.

    In cosmetics, it is used in many forms, such as massage oils, perfume, an ingredient in creams and ointments, etc., due to its woody scent.

  • GRAPEFRUIT-ASTRINGENT AND VITAMIN-ENRICHED

    Grapefruit, like other citrus fruits, is notable given its vitamin C content. This compound has excellent cosmetic properties that help to fight the damage caused by UVA and UVB rays.

    When used on the skin and hair, Grapefruit extract combines its purifying and astringent effect with a moisturising action, thanks to the AHAs, vitamins, flavonoids and sugars in its composition.

    Grapefruit is used in moisturising skin and hair cosmetics, and its scent is synonymous with a citric freshness that is often used in natural, energising fragrances and cosmetics. 

  • PROPOLIS-ANTISEPTIC AND BALSAMIC

    Propolis is a waxy resin made by bees, whose composition is complex but provides excellent properties for topical use.

    Its chemical name is crystallised potassium aluminium sulphate.

    The Sequoia is a tree known for its longevity, with specimens that live more than 2,000 years. Its stem cells have been studied in depth and have been proven to be great allies of anti-ageing treatments.
